We believe in the plurality of elders with absolute equality among them in position, function and responsibility. Elders serve as under-shepherds, willingly exercising oversight of the flock.
They strive to be humble servants, committed to equipping the saints for the work of the ministry for the building up of the church (Eph. 4:12). They desire to see Christ glorified and treasured in the hearts of His people and the church make impact in the city and beyond.
Born in a Christian home, George trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation at a young age. He did his studies and lived most of his life in the US. He married Sairah (now with the Lord) in 1993 and has been blessed with nine children. George is currently working with a multi-national IT company in Bangalore. He and his family have been part of CBF since mid-2009. He also serves on the board of Gospel Missions of India, a US organization that supports mission work in India. His teaching interests focus on areas of practical Christian living.
Rebby trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation during his college days in Kerala. While working in the Steel Authority of India, the Lord called him out to ministry in 1992. He and his wife, Asha, have been serving the Lord in two Central Asian countries for the past twenty years. Though currently based in Bangalore, they are still involved with the ministry in Central Asia, primarily in teaching and training a few local Christian leaders. They have three boys. They are in fellowship with CBF since their move to Bangalore in July 2013.
